Care of Reeds

---

• Please do not over soak my reeds. Just dip them in water and then shake off the excess. The reeds are ready to play after sitting one or two minutes.
  ​
• My reeds have one side of the tip cut shorter. Please face the reed toward you where the thread crosses over for the best response.
   
• For optimal performance, a reed will last for about 10-12 hours of solid playing. 

• Playing on all the reeds in your case with keep them in good working order.
  
  
• It is best to have at least three working reeds at all times.​
  ​
• Reeds change with the climate and seasons, so having more than one working reed will ensure happy practice sessions and great performances!
